NORTHPOINT

THIS IS HOW WE MADE IT

The Northpoint softball team is named after the Northpoint Recovery facility, located out of Edmonds, where most of its players are alumni of. Created by alumni in 2020, the team fills its roster every year by advertising to clients in the facility, showing them that there is a fun, and strong, sober community in CSSA.

Outside of softball, the members of Northpoint stay in touch, and regularly see each other in Northpoint's alumni program, which hosts meetings every Thursday and Friday, as well as holding alumni events every month that range from guided painting to white water rafting.

“I have been playing in the CSSA East for 14 years and coaching a team for 12 years. To be a part of something like this, watching so many people’s lives change, grow into a family and better their lives on and off the field, is truly something amazing and so special to me!”
